Junior Sustainability Consultant

Location: Plaza Pantai 5, Kuala Lumpur, Kerinchi LRT Station

Working hours: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Galaxy Tech Solutions is a multi-disciplinary ESG consultancy that focuses on providing sustainability and sustainable development solutions to governments, industries, and organizations.

If you are at the early stage of your career development and seek an opportunity to work in the field of sustainability, we welcome passionate individuals, including recent graduates, to join our team as a Junior Sustainability Consultant. This role offers a unique chance to contribute to impactful ESG projects while gaining valuable experience and mentorship within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

Collect and analyze primary and secondary data from various sources.
Develop and maintain robust systems for data storage and analysis.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of data through rigorous data audit processes.
Assist in conducting feasibility studies and assessments.
Utilize data analysis tools to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Analyze trends and industry updates to provide insights for informed decisions.
Present data-driven insights to internal and external stakeholders.
Assist in stakeholder engagement activities related to sustainability initiatives.
Collaborate with senior consultants on various ESG projects and related tasks.
Communicate with clients to understand sustainability goals and provide updates on reporting progress.
Assist in conducting comprehensive GHG emissions inventories and reports for organizations.
Assist in preparing sustainability reports aligned with global frameworks (e.g., Bursa Malaysia, GRI, SASB, etc.).

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree.
Passion for sustainable development initiatives.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with GHG guidelines and sustainability reporting frameworks.
Knowledge of environmental regulations and standards.
